Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor
Taylor Kline

Hi! My name is Taylor and I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in Washington, DC. I am a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University’s Counselor Education Program with an emphasis in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. I receive supervision from Dr. Stanley.

My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults in both the community-based and college counseling center settings. I have provided individual and group counseling for a wide range of topics including grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.

My counseling style is Person-Centered while incorporating elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Multicultural Therapy. Overall, I use a strengths-based approach to provide insight into how my clients’ thoughts and feelings affect their behaviors and outlooks while also considering cultural context. My common goal is to create a space where my clients feel comfortable and heard from the moment we meet. Therefore, I strive to create a collaborative working alliance with warmth and empathy.
